admission procedure

The admission commences immediately after the announcement of the S.S.L.C results. Candidates who wish to take admission should contact the principal/admission office personally, along with their parents/guardians. They should bring a completely filled application form along with four passport-size photographs and a statement of marks obtained in the S.S.L.C Examination, duly attested by the Headmaster/Principal of the School.

The documents to be submitted

  1. Marks card of S.S.L.C or equivalent exam marks card, Aadhaar card with a Xerox copy.
  2. Transfer certificate issued by the institution last attended with a Xerox copy.
  3. Conduct certificate issued by the institution last attended with a Xerox copy.
  4. Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Director, Dept. of P.U. Education, Bangalore (Applicable to students from other countries only).
  5. Caste Certificate issued by the Tahasildhar with a Xerox copy (Applicable to SC/ST/BCM Group candidates only).
  6. Income Certificate with a Xerox copy (applicable to students whose family income is below Rs. 44,500/-per annum).
 

The application can be obtained from the college or admissions office immediately after the announcement of S.S.L.C results.

Students are informed to keep with them sufficient attested Xerox copies of the original documents to submit at the time of admission, as the originals will not be returned till admission is approved/the course is completed.

COURSE OF STUDY

  1. The duration of the Per-University course is spread over a period of 2 academic years.
  2. Medium of instruction is English. However, students may, at their option, answer in either English or Kannada in the public examination.
  3. The course of study is in 2 Parts :
    Part – I: Language
    Part – II: Core Subjects

 
I & II PUC students must compulsorily attend the statutory and mid-term examinations conducted by the college, failing which serious disciplinary action will be taken.

I Year PUC promotional Exam:

A district level examination will be conducted at the end of the academic year by the PU Board., A candidate has to Secure 30% Marks in each paper and 35% in aggregate to get promoted to II PU

II Year PUC promotional Exam: 

A State level examination will be conducted at the end of the academic year by the PU Board.
