Seminar on “International Day against Drug Abuse and illicit trafficking”.

Our college observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26th with a special seminar conducted by the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and the illegal drug trade. The Commissioner shared valuable insights on law enforcement efforts to combat drug trafficking, while experts highlighted the importance of prevention, treatment, and support for those affected by drugs.

The seminar was followed by workshops and awareness campaigns, where students learned about the physical, mental, and social impacts of drug abuse. Active participation from students emphasized the need for a collective approach to create a healthier, drug-free community. The event underscored the role of both law enforcement and society in tackling this global issue, encouraging everyone to contribute to a safer, drug-free environment.
